hmmmnnn.... title will do

Wsup good people.

I would believe that you are enjoying every bit of this life- the lousy assignments, the difficult girlfriends, the amazing boyfriends, depressing GPAs, well-deserved hang-overs, dusty BMX bikes et al.!
I’m finally on break from campus, or at least I’m meant to believe that I am for like 1.5 months. There’s this drunk of a lecturer, who opted to lose our exam scripts, at least a good number of them, and then those that he didn’t lose, he opted not to mark them and instead fabricated grades for ‘em. So now after like 2 yrs, the campus catches onto this ... Man’s very un-ingenious conduct and orders that we, innocent and diligent- oh so diligent students have to resit the exams. And having only one year left in campus- I have to spend the next 6 weeks relearning the unit. [God just shouted in my ear: QUIT COMPLAINING! And I shall oblige]

(I anxiously need/want to rejoin to the recent blogs)

Dennis:
i) Your idea of writers block is strangely very many pages of blog… I printed it out and it was two pages (of two columns each!) writers block indeed- you should start a column!

ii) I have a motion picture in my mind of deno running like a DONKEY ON HEAT inspired by the McGill bureaucracy… I doubt you’l hear the end of this ha ha ha! I must endeavor to get a motion pic of a real running DONKEY ON HEAT lol!
Lakini I trust you got all your approvals despite the frustrating personnel and the good laugh.

iii) You must be paying quite some tax, if it warrants the receipt of tax refunds. For Nathan’s enlightenment, I went to the trouble to check our Kenyan Income Tax, Chapter 405 of the Laws of Kenya, and indeed tax refunds are not really dreams but do occur quite frequently, albeit perhaps a bit slower because of the inherent slow process at the times towers. Section 105 of the Act reads,

If it is proved to the satisfaction of the commissioner (of income tax) that, in respect of a year of income, tax has been paid by … a person, whether directly or by deduction or otherwise, which is in excess of the amount payable by that person as finally determined in respect of that year of income, the Commissioner shall refund the amount of the excess, together with any interest which may be payable thereon under this Act to the person entitled.

In our case it seems to occur (ie refund) only in the event of excess payment, I don’t how it works in Canada? Advise. A guy of mine in Australia told me s-thing to the effect that, the their Government refunds the full ama part of the tax paid by an individual if his income or tax payable is below a particular cut-off… thus broke or low earning dudes don’t pay much or at all.

iv) This pal of yours who’s hooking up a wife for convenience purposes might not have spoken to you because perhaps you might have come across as kidogo judgmental or self-righteous or just difficult to talk to. Look back and ponder bout it, I often find it prudent to search for my share of blame or responsibility, before I apportion it to any other person….. now swing over the dynamics of the vibe; I might want to hook myself wit a citizen-mummy (vis. Sugar-mommy)

Nathan/Nate/ etc:

i) I’m glad u mentioned Vicky… not so that we discuss the fruitfulness of any relations, or the sexy nature of you Scorpios….. lakini how’s she doing? U heard from her? Got her email address?

ii) Tax refunds actually happen in Kenya, though as noted above, I believe it only happens in the event of excess payment. Perhaps Wangu could advise us on that.

iii) Now you guys who went to coast ought to be PROHIBITED from posting tit-bits of stories like advertisements of a great adventure! If you want to tell us about contents of Denno’s cooler and its effects to Chris, or bout Mr. Bigfish- you best tell the full story!!! Angie as well ought to tell us about the COOCOO FIVE and the DODGY FRENCH MEN. Fill us in guys (Wangu, help me rub this in!!!)

ANGIE GACHUI: I need to form an opinion and/or impression of your good self, so please blog more and more! Karibu to the “distinguished insane place of ramblings”!

DAVID ISIAHO: Its been quite a while since we heard from Isiaho, any idea. YOU OUT THERE????? Holla!

THOMAS, I’m looking to buy a book to read over the next month or so. Any ideas? Fiction or non-fiction.

I’m sure you’ve all figured by now that I’ve not said much bout myself and my success story… lol! Will soon. Stay alive people and LET US ALL SUPPORT THE WEBSITE OF DENNIS’ SOCIAL LIFE! lol!

Can BRIAN MWANJILA please show his face!!!!!!
