A last and lasting impression

I had an interesting experience at a newly opened restaurant the other day.

Only typical of myself, we didnt visit the restaurant at my instance- so u should be convinced that it isn't a greasy fries hole, but an expensive big menu establishment, the kind where the watchman in a most arrogant fashion, dispels customers who walk into the premises!

NWAY! This guy of mine who’s studying in the UK and who was unable to trace till very recently, decides to throw dinner before he bounces…enuf history. So we have some nice food, lovely duck etc etc and I must say that as we ate and chatted we really were enjoying the ambience and the quality of food, music and crowd generally. Upto this point, it was a joint that I would advise anyone to go to, I’d rated it that highly. now after the lovely meal, we had some drinks and thereafter called for the bill.

Unfortunately for the establishment, at that exact moment, you will not guess what went scurrying across the wall and right beside my friend’s foot. Yep, A RAT!!! (a baby rat, meaning the mother and the rest of the litter were hanging around somewhere…) Boy! oh! Boy! I felt the food churning in my stomach; I almost recalled it all out just to spite the negligent restaurant manager.

And the worst was yet to occur! The Indian owners, having noticed the rodent, decide that they shall kill it ASAP and with the closest thing possible- THE MENU!

Did I not write off the restaurant? Of course I did. And anyone, sorry everyone I know will hear of it and be advised to be wary of the restaurant and the menu!

Does anyone want to know the name of the Restaurant?
