Re: Digital Camera... its about time!

Have you ever though bout how inconveniencing the kawa still pic camera is in comparison to the digital camera? I t recently hit me that pengine, the digital camera is truly a smart investment. It took me much more than the occasional picture posted on the blog to realise the fact.

Nway, i have managed to stock up a number of rolls of films in my room all waiting to be processed- why? because of the irresponsible photography by my (not so small) family. U would think we have a School of Photography! U jua how siblings (if u have small ones- ama if u were the only naughty child in your household) can amua to pull out the shared camera and take pics of every strange looking insect in the living room; ama they spot a mzuri car in the estate parking lot or the neighbour's house-help. u get the picture (pun intended). Thats the genesis of my most recent expense! I'm trying to have all rolls in my room 'washed' for the simple purpose of locating sme pics that i took like 2 years ago... u can only imagine how washwad i get every time i pay the guy across the counter at the photo studio. (cheapest in town, believe me!) Man i dont even jua whats in half the rolls i'm having processed. I think i'l extort my housemates (upcoming photo journalists, hmmnn!) and make everyone buy the pic with their face on it else i ficha them or worse trash them!

Yeah, so thats why i want to purchase a digital camera. Dear Bloggers, pray tell where i can get a reasonable priced digital camera (still). And also advise on what features i should look out for. (though really... any digicam will be better than my 'buy-a-film-wash-a-film' camera!)

Shifta! Where u at?
